Alarm Permits
The City of Frisco's new alarm ordinance took effect in December of 2009. To review the ordinance, renew your permit, or apply for a new permit, please call 972.292.6000 and speak with a records clerk.
In order to apply for an alarm permit, please download and complete the alarm permit application and return it to the Records Division at the police headquarters building. Additional information regarding alarms and alarm permitting is also available by viewing the alarm permit fact sheet.
City Government
The Frisco City Council meets the first and third Tuesdays of each month inside the City Council Chamber at the George A. Purefoy Municipal Center, 6101 Frisco Square Blvd. Citizens are welcome to attend the open meeting which generally begins at 6:30 p.m. Citizens' input is heard at approximately 7:30 p.m.
The Frisco City Managers Office is located on the 5th Floor of City Hall inside the George A. Purefoy Municipal Center, 6101 Frisco Square Blvd. City Hall is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Environmental Services
Unpacking? The City of Frisco Environmental Services' automated service requires cardboard boxes be broken down and placed inside the trash cart. We recognize this can amount to a large amount of waste when first moving in, so we provide a couple free alternatives. Only flattened boxes will be accepted. Focal Point
Focal Point is the official newsletter of the City of Frisco. Focal Point is a free, monthly publication. It is delivered inside All About Frisco, a free publication of the Frisco Enterprise. Both Focal Point and All About Frisco are delivered to every Frisco home, regardless of whether residents subscribe to The Frisco Enterprise. Focal Point is also available at Frisco City Hall, the Frisco Public Library, the Senior Center at Frisco Square and the Frisco Municipal Complex.
Parks and Recreation
The City of Frisco Parks and Recreation Department manages 43 park sites totaling 1369 acres that are open from sun up to sun down. The city also owns more than 744 acres of undeveloped land, which will be planned and constructed in the near future. Click here to link to the complete list of Frisco parks and trails. Pet Registration
The City of Frisco requires dogs and cats be vaccinated for rabies by four (4) months of age and to have a booster within a 12 month interval following the initial vaccination. A dog or cat must be re-vaccinated against rabies a minimum of at least three (3) years with an approved vaccine. A pet must wear a current rabies tag on their collar at all times.
