(June 25, 2010) The U-turn lane on southbound Dallas Parkway at S.H. 121 will be closed for six months starting Monday, June 28. During this closure, southbound motorists who want to turn around to go north on Dallas Parkway will need to continue south past the U-turn lane and make two left-turns at the traffic signal at S.H. 121. The U-turn lane is expected to reopen by December 31, 2010.
Motorists are encouraged to use caution in the area as people become accustomed to the new traffic patterns. The closure of this U-turn lane is necessary as part of the North Texas Tollway Authority’s (NTTA) interchange construction project at the Dallas North Tollway and Sam Rayburn Tollway.
