(February 28, 2011) The left lane of the westbound Sam Rayburn Tollway (SRT) service road is shutdown west of the Dallas Parkway intersection due to an overturned dump truck.
The accident happened shortly before 5 p.m. The truck was hauling construction trash, namely bricks, plywood and drywall scraps. A wrecker is in the process of moving the truck and a front end loader is clearing the accident debris. Firefighters estimate it may take up to a half hour to clear the scene.
Motorists should expect traffic delays and may want to find an alternate route.
