The Community Services Division facilitates and coordinates efforts to reduce crime through the development, promotion, and implementation of effective crime prevention-based strategies. Additionally, the division strengthens public trust through education and partnerships.
In order to achieve its goals, Community Services Division officers and civilian staff partner with citizens and businesses, government and civic organizations, as well as schools and education-based programs. The partnerships created by the division are an invaluable asset to the police department, as it builds relationships with the community that would not otherwise exist and flourish.
The officers and civilian staff that are assigned to the division are, many times, the first person that citizens meet and speak with from the police department.
Through the division's efforts people are able to put a face and a name with the badge, and learn that Frisco police officers are no different than they are.
