Service Guidelines:
*Roll out for collection by 7 a.m.
*Carts should not be placed together. Space at least three feet apart.

Examples of how your carts should be set out |
*Place away from obstacles such as gas meters, fencing, utility boxes/poles.
*All trash must be inside the cart – items outside the cart will not be collected.
*Contents should be bagged and lids closed.
*Overloading cart will result in non-collection.

For Your Records:
Make a note of your cart’s serial number. It will help you identify your cart, should it go missing. Carts are the property of Community Waste Disposal. There is a charge for replacements.

Too Much To Fit in the Cart?

FREE “Large Item” Collection
Check out the map to find out when you can throw away unwanted, large items. The map colors distinguish Saturday pick up zones. If you live in the “green section” your collection is on the first Saturday of the month; “yellow” the 2nd Saturday; “purple” the 3rd Saturday and “brown” the 4th Saturday.
There is a limit on the number of items per pick up. Weight restrictions also apply. To schedule a pick up, call Environmental Services at (972) 292-5900 before 12 p.m. on Friday prior to your pick up date.
Acceptable items:
(Items too large to fit in the trash can)
*Furniture
*Carpet (maximum of one, 4 ft. x 4 ft. area)
*Wood poles (Under 4 ft and free of concrete)
*Kitchen cabinets, countertops (maximum of 50 pounds and 4 ft. sections)*Wooden pallets and untreated fencing (limited to one pallet or one, six-foot section of fencing per collection)

Not Acceptable:
*Tree limbs, stumps and root balls
*Household chemicals (such as paints, solvents and thinners)
*Pool Chemicals
*Garden Fertilizers and Pesticides
*Automobile products and parts
