Special Events

Each year Frisco Fire Safety Town hosts three separate special events, spanning over a total of twenty nights of fun and education.  All of our events are free of charge and scheduled after business hours.

During the summer months of June, July and August, we are open from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for Friday Nights are Family Nights at Frisco Fire Safety Town.  Our 2012 season runs from  June 1 through August 31 -- every Friday night.  This event offers families the opportunity to visit after regular business hours.  It is a self-paced event with a variety of areas to explore.  Bike and jeep rides are offered as tickets remain available.  (A short safety guidelines class is required to receive a ticket to ride.)  Other activities include storytime in the mini-fire station, watching Barney Visits the Firehouse (filmed at Frisco's station 5) and, of course, our interactive fire engine and safety house are always open.  Firefighters will be on hand to demonstrate our new CORE Construction/Farmers Insurance 'after the fire' Theatre.

Every October, we invite all ghosts and goblins from tots - 5th grade to join us for our Fall Festival with Trick-or-Treating.
The 2012 Trick-or-Treat event will be on
October 26, from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m..  Our village will be decorated and the Safety Town residents will be on hand to pass out treats of all kind.  Parking is always an issue for this event; we strongly encourage visitors to use the FREE shuttle;  The shuttle stop is located at the Frisco Athletic Center, 5828 Nancy Jane Lane.

Our final event of the year is Holiday Lights. Our mini-town is decorated and lit with hundreds of lights for the holiday season.  This eight night event occurs during the second and third weekends of December, running from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. nightly.   Our 2012 event dates for Holiday Lights are Dec. 7-9 and Dec. 14-18.  Kiddos will enjoy seeing the town lit for the season as well as hearing live musical performances by local school groups.  Mom and Dad, bring your cameras;  You will not want to miss the opportunity to get your child's photo with Santa, in our mini-fire station.  E-mail Santa, crafts, face painting and more!  The fun and learning never ends at Frisco Fire Safety Town.

As event dates approach, keep checking our website for more details or updates for the current year's events.
